New to Mosterton Village Hall - Pilates classes starting Monday morning 29 April, see poster below
The new year has started with a review of the Hall and works necessary to do. We would like to make it a focus this year and attempt to start a significant upgrade in the facility. I know we are always trying to improve it and its slow but we are an energetic Committee and lots of ideas and I believe anything is possible.
We have had the roof to the annex cleaned and it is going to be repaired this month. This should help to secure this space for some time. We have turned our attention now to the outside space and are looking at funding opportunities. Any we successfully secure will have to be supported by funds we raise ourselves so please support any event in the Hall. As you can see there are lots planned.
If you take any photos at our events and you are happy to share them on social media, please can I ask you do just that or email or email them to me and I will upload them.
Till the next time

Last Saturday saw our first Casino Night at the Hall. It was a bit of a "gamble" but I’m delighted to say it paid off ! The gaming tables were run by professional croupiers, helped along by a London Mixologist who made amazing cocktails. Everyone who came really enjoyed the night and we will run another in the future.
The focus for the Committee now is on resolving the issue with the hard standing to the rear of the Hall. We are considering a number of options and will be establishing a fund to cover the considerable cost. I will keep you informed.
Now we must turn our attention to Christmas. We will be doing Supper with Santa again this year. This incredibly popular event will be held on Saturday 15 December. The poster will be up later this month and tickets will be on sale from the shop and the Treasurer. Father Christmas has promised he will be there at 5.30 pm to turn on the lights before giving out the presents.
